Zeekerss, the game’s developer, announced on 24 November that the next update ("Version 45") would be coming this week. This means it’ll likely be released sometime between 27 November and 2 December.

Zeekerss has promised players that updates will come “regularly” - likely every 2-3 weeks, he claimed, but perhaps not like clockwork.
What New Content Will Be In The Next Lethal Company Content Update
Zeekerss has outlined quite a few updates that will be coming in Lethal Company’s next update. These include bug fixes, new mechanics, and quality of life updates. Here are just a few features coming in Lethal Company’s next update:
Zeekerss also noted that achievements will be coming “eventually,” though perhaps not in the next update. Another feature coming up is inverted mouse support.
It's possible that he could also add more fan-requested content, like an Arachnophobia mode, in the future, but we'll see.
